About the wine
Rich red with blue-violet reflections. Intense on the nose with scents of medicinal herbs and spices, on the palate with dark fruits and velvety tannin. Seductive. Goes well with: stored hard cheese, grilled and smoked pork

Tasting note
The wine has a lively ruby-red core and a narrow purple edge. Intense aromas of herbs, spices and black fruits develop on the nose. On the palate, it shows soft and balanced tannins, which give the wine elegance and complexity.
Culinary recommendation
This Carmenère goes well with grilled meat, roast pork, cold cuts and cheese platters.
Vinification
The grapes come from the Carmenère vineyard near the Oratorio di San Lorenzo. After harvesting, maceration and fermentation take place for 12 days in upright stainless steel fermenters with internal agitators. The wine is then aged for 12 months in barriques, 20% of which are new and 80% are used.
