About the wine
The Carignano variety, which is also common in Spain and southern France, benefits from excellent conditions in southern Sardinia. The sandy soils near the sea allow root cultivation, the good ventilation allows the grapes to ripen well and yet produce fresh wines.

Tasting note
Deep purple. On the nose, strong aroma of dark stone fruit and cranberries with fine herbal spices and balsamic notes. Long-lasting on the palate with a round, powerful structure.
Culinary recommendation
With fried or braised meat, with game, with mature cheese. Also great with Sardinian lasagna with Pane Carasau.
Vinification
Fermentation for 15 days at 26 to 28°C. Aging for 12 months in French barriques.
