About the wine

Tasting note
The wine has an intense ruby red. On the nose, fruity aromas develop with a hint of licorice. On the palate, it is elegant with good fullness.
Culinary recommendation
This wine goes well with rich first courses and tasty main dishes with meat, light game and fine poultry.
Vinification
The Carignano grapes come from scrub and trellised vines on medium-textured soils that lean towards clay, sand and limestone. The harvest takes place from mid-September to mid-October. Mash fermentation takes place at 25 to 30 °C with regular circulation, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged in cement tanks for several months before being bottled.
