About the wine

Tasting note
Dense ruby with violet reflections; the nose aroma expresses the character of this autochthonous grape variety extremely well. Ripe, dark berry notes, a delicate herbal spice and some leather. Rich in extracts and rich on the palate, with a juicy texture. Rich and complex aromas. The tannins are clearly noticeable and give the wine structure. Aromatic and long-lasting aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty pasta dishes, pizza, pot roast or lamb racks.
Vinification
Only the best Aglianico grapes are used for this riserva. After harvesting the grapes and pressing, they are mashed in large steel tanks. The young wine is then aged in French barriques for twelve months.
