Tasting note
In the glass, the wine is deep garnet purple. The nose is dominated by a seductive bouquet of violets, wild blueberries, Morello cherries and iron minerals, followed by an intense core of blackcurrant jelly, licorice, fragrant earth and black truffle. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with a fascinating combination of velvety tannins and densely interwoven layers of black, red and blue fruits, which result in an impressively elegant and persistent finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised lamb, grilled beef or game dishes. It also develops its full potential with aged hard cheeses such as Manchego or with dishes with mushrooms and truffles.
Vinification
The grapes were harvested by hand between August 22 and September 8. The vinification was carried out with great care to preserve the purity and precision of the wine, resulting in a wine with enormous aging potential.
