Borrigiano Toscana IGT Il Borro blends the lively freshness of Sangiovese with the bold elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon. This organic red is an easygoing companion for laid-back nights or sharing good food and laughs with friends.
Tasting note
Ruby red with purple reflections, lively and versatile red wine. Its aromas are intense with notes of fresh red fruits reminiscent of Cerasa cherry. Its complexity is underlined by spicy notes of ginger and white pepper. The first impressions are confirmed on the palate, which are accompanied by a pleasant freshness due to the acidity. The tannins are elegant and leave a clean and harmonious finish.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand when they have reached optimal technological and phenological ripeness. The subsequent cold maceration in cement containers makes it possible to preserve the complexity of the natural flavoring substances. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, followed by a ten-month aging in large wooden barrels and a two-month refinement in the bottle.
