Tasting note
Dense, almost impenetrable ruby red. The intense, pure bouquet focuses on dark fruit notes and is accompanied by subtle, perfectly integrated roasted aromas. The palate is followed by an impressive taste experience, with aromas ranging from lush fruit notes to chocolate, mocha and tobacco. The lively acidity and the exemplary integrated tannin provide freshness and elegance.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with braised beef, game dishes, lamb chops or aged hard cheese. It is also an ideal accompaniment to pasta with strong sauces.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested manually, in different stages, depending on the degree of ripeness. The vinification takes place separately by type. The temperature-controlled fermentation takes three to four weeks, after which the wine rests in barriques for 18 months.
