About the wine
An expressive Pinot Noir with aromas of dark cherries, fine herbs and earthy nuances. Elegant and complex on the palate, supported by fine tannins and lively acidity. Tasting note
The nose of this wine is beguiling intense and rich, with aromas of black and red cherries, blueberries, eucalyptus, sloe and elderberry. In the mouth, the abundant but polished and ultra-silky tannins impress as the wine
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb, game, beef.
Vinification
20% of the wine is aged in new 225 liter wooden barrels over a period of 21 months, with 50% of the grapes being crushed with the feet. A high percentage of whole grapes enables a partially fermented mash with increased residual sugar, which triggers a second fermentation in the barriques, leaving each barrel individually shaped.
