About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Pandolfa - Noelia Ricci is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing Emilia-Romagnaa countryside. Tasting note
The Pandolfa Battista Rubicone is produced in only very small quantities, so to speak “pour la famille”, so you can assume that it will be used with particular care if Marco Cirese assumes that he will enjoy a good part of it himself and with his friends and family. The Chardonnay grapes are squeezed and pressed immediately after harvesting in order to preserve the fresh fruit of the grape in particular to the maximum. The fermented and clarified young wine then remains on the fine yeast for another three months, which contributes to the subtle fullness that is noticeable on the palate. Its bouquet is delicately fruity, racy, lively. It is flatteringly round on the palate with a salty finish, an ideal aperitif wine.
