Tasting note
The Baselbieter RieslingSylvaner AOC bouquet of petrol, nectarine and pineapple shows aromatic complexity and lots of finesse. The distinctive notes of apple, apricot and lime create their individual texture. A white wine with a slim body and outstanding acidity, which develops its complex structure on the tongue and in the palate.

Goes well with light starters, asparagus, freshwater fish, z'vieriplättli, light cheeses.
Vinification
Information about vinification: Although the name Riesling-Sylvaner is actually incorrect according to the latest findings, as the crossing partners of this grape variety were Riesling and Madeleine Royal, it is still known as Riesling Sylvaner in our region. The grapes come from various Basel wine-growing communities and are picked by hand and carefully selected. In the cellar, attention is paid to a particularly long mash period before fermentation in order to obtain as many aromas as possible from the grape skins.
