About the wine
Brovia is one of the best Barolo producers in Piedmont and cultivates large individual vineyards such as Villero, Rocche di Castiglione and Garblét Sue. These Nebbiolo plants are characterized by high quality, unique elegance, strong character and great ripening potential.
Tasting note
Garnet red color. Multi-faceted bouquet with aromas of dark cherries, plums, violets, spices and herbs. Dense and intense on the palate with ripe tannins and balanced acidity, which result in great aging potential. The aftertaste is extremely long-lasting with rose petals, pepper and wild berries.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Barolo Villero DOCG passt hervorragend zu Burrata, Rindfleisch und Trüffelrisotto. Unsere Empfehlung: Trinken Sie diesen Rotwein bei leicht gekühlten 15°-18°C. Im folgenden Zeitraum liegt die ideale Genussphase dieses Weins: 2016 - 2029.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation for 15 to 20 days on the mash at a maximum of 28°C. Then classic aging in French wooden barrels (30 hl) for two years. Filling without filtration and subsequent bottle aging under optimal conditions.
