About the wine
Brovia is one of the best Barolo producers in Piedmont and cultivates large individual vineyards such as Villero, Rocche di Castiglione and Garblét Sue. These Nebbiolo plants are characterized by high quality, unique elegance, strong character and great ripening potential.
Tasting note
Garnet red color, cassis, black cherries, roses, licorice, licorice and spices on the nose. Dense on the palate with fine tannins and balanced acidity. Great, long finish. The wine should be left to lie for at least another 5 years and will certainly last 20 years.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, seafood, goat cheese or Asian cuisine.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation for 15 to 20 days on the mash at a maximum of 28°C. Then classic aging in French wooden barrels (30 hl) for two years. Filling without filtration and subsequent bottle aging under optimal conditions.
