About the wine
High intensity on the nose with an incredible harmony of red fruits and a touch of rose petals. The palate is complex and full with a soft texture and subtle notes of undergrowth, mint and licorice.

Tasting note
The bouquet of anise shows aromatic complexity and a lot of finesse. The outstanding notes of roses and cherries create their individual texture. That stays in the memory: Its deep garnet red gives every occasion a special touch. A strong body and outstanding acidity result in the fruity red wine, which shows a lot of character and class with dominant tannins in the mouth.

Goes well with meat dishes such as barbecues, game, stews or typical Piedmontese cuisine
Vinification
Maceration on skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for approx. 12 days before the grapes are pressed and the alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel is completed (approx. 20 days), with malolactic fermentation also taking place at a controlled temperature. Around December, the wine is transferred to small oak barrels, 30% of which are new and 70% used, where they mature for 24 months. After decanting in stainless steel, the wine is bottled without fining or filtration.
