Tasting note
Only limited edition bottles of the Ceretto flagship are produced. Subtle and intense at the same time, complex and elegant in the bouquet, notes of dried flowers, hay, roasted almonds, tobacco. Rich with lots of melting, robust, yet youthful dusty tannin, lots of roasted aromas, tobacco, very long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled 17°-19°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase of this wine: 2011 - 2026. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with beef, truffle risotto and burrata.
Vinification
Fermentation in steel tanks with spontaneous yeasts, up to 30 days of contact with mash. Aging in 300-liter French barriques for 12 months, then another year in 25hl barrels.
