About the wine
An elegant and complex Nebbiolo from one of the most prestigious locations in the Barbaresco area. It seduces with intense aromas of ripe red fruits, rose petals, licorice and fine spicy notes. On the palate, it has an impressive structure with silky tannins, lively acidity and distinctive minerality. The aftertaste is long and elegant.

Tasting note
The deep bouquet alternates between floral and fruity notes, with a touch of undergrowth completing the aromatic picture. On the palate, it is seductive and satisfying without being too limp: it is firm, tough and yet sophisticated. A truly successful masterpiece!
Culinary recommendation
This Barbaresco goes well with braised meat, truffle dishes, game and aged cheese. It is also an excellent choice for risotto with mushrooms or porcini pasta. A wine for special moments of pleasure!
Vinification
Gallina is a unique vineyard: it lies at the foot of Neive, with the village above it and the village cemetery in front of it. Ceretto only has a few rows here, which allows you to concentrate on the details. This vineyard has great expressiveness and that convinced the winery to bring it to market during its first winemaking process. The soils are marl-calcareous, rich in pale sands, and the wine is rich and tasty.
