About the wine
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Tenuta Serpaia, Endrizzi presents Atunis — a single-varietal Petit Verdot that captures the essence of the Maremma region.

Tasting note
The Atunis is in intense cherry red. On the nose, it develops a complex bouquet of fresh plum, violet, cedarwood, black currant and blackberry, accompanied by hints of licorice. On the palate, it impresses with velvety tannins, lively acidity and distinctive fruit. The aftertaste is long-lasting and is accompanied by notes such as black pepper, licorice, dark chocolate and cocoa.
Culinary recommendation
The Atunis goes perfectly with fine dishes such as truffle creations, roast pink veal, grilled vegetables or aged cheese. For an optimal taste experience, it is recommended to decant the wine before serving.
Vinification
The grapes come from an exclusive 1.4 hectare plot with sandy soil and clay veins, which ensure optimal water retention. Thanks to the unique microclimate conditions, characterized by natural shading and cooling effects, the grapes ripen slowly and evenly. After careful handpicking, the vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and fruitiness. The wine is then aged for twelve months in lightly toasted French barriques. After bottling, the bottles are then stored for around 36 months before they reach their optimal drinking age.
