About the wine

Tasting note
The whole Italian sun is in this great wine. Concentrated with a wide range of aromas of dried plums, cherries, blackberries, licorice, pepper, tobacco and spicy notes. On the palate, it delights with its full-bodied nature, supported by a pleasant acidity and velvety tannins. An incredibly precise wine which, unlike many of its competitors, does not come across as mashed at all, but delights with complete harmony.

Goes well with Italian cuisine, game dishes, fried beef fillet with strong sauce, pot roast, chocolate
Vinification
The carefully selected grapes rest in the in-house tuff drying cellar for four months. In the process, the grapes are dried and the aromas are concentrated. The fermentation process then takes place at cool temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged in 50 hl oak barrels for approx. 18 months.
