About the wine
Sunny and enchanting landscapes of Vaud give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Swiss winery Obrist conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
This wine is characterized by beautiful minerality, as well as chalk and flint notes, framed by linden blossom and broom scents. Rich and round, supported by fresh, youthful acidity, ending in a harmonious and lasting finish. Elegant straw yellow.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hors d'oeuvre, artichokes, asparagus dishes, whitefish terrine with currants, meat pies, char, trout, white meat, cheese slices, recent cheeses.
Vinification
Gentle pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and varietal specificity. Aging on fine lees to give the wine more structure and texture — in the classic style of the Vaud Chasselas wines.
