About the wine

The “Yarden Chardonnay” reveals attractive notes of pears, lemons, green apples and tropical fruits. It is rounded off by mineral and floral characters, all with a touch of French oak. The attractive white wine has a full body and a persistent and elegant finish. A “Yarden Chardonnay” is produced exclusively from grapes harvested in vineyards at an altitude of up to 1,200 meters on the northern Golan Heights. Over the years, the northern Golan areas have been known for producing remarkable quality Chardonnay grapes. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for seven months, of which around 40% are new. A “Yarden Chardonnay” can be enjoyed immediately after purchase. However, the wine develops for around five to seven years and remains in good drinking condition. Combine the attractive white wine with grilled sardines, pistachio-crusted chicken breast or with a creamy mushroom risotto.
