About the wine
A powerful South Tyrolean with character: aromas of dark berries, violets, dark chocolate and fine spices. Velvety, dense and elegant on the palate with well-integrated tannins and a long finish.

Tasting note
It appears in a deep, almost opaque ruby with purple reflections. Intense and complex on the nose: dark wild berries, ripe plums, violets, plus fine roasted notes, dark chocolate and a hint of pepper. Strong and structured on the palate, with ripe fruit, well-integrated tannin and elegant freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful accompaniment to all kinds of stews — whether it's lamb gigot, beef shoulder, roast pork or ossobuco.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested strictly by hand and transported to the cellar in small boxes. After alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, the wine ages in barriques for 18 months before being bottled for another 12 months before being sold.
