About the wine
With this subtle Viognier 2017 — Vivia Maremma DOC, the term taste takes on a new meaning. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Le Mortelle masters this white wine in the fertile and blooming Tuscan countryside. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this viognier with roasted poultry with lemon sauce or potatoes.

Tasting note
Bright, shiny straw yellow. A seductive nose looks wonderfully fresh and inviting. There are exotic notes, ripe citrus fruit. Spicy floral overall, with an intense scent of bergamot. Pleasantly lively on the palate. Again, an almost exotic fruit, some bergamot and also subtle, vegetable notes. A fresh, juicy wine with a very well-integrated acidity. Sustained aftertaste
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled Mediterranean fish.
Vinification
Some of the grapes are gently pressed after harvesting, the other part is crushed at a temperature of 5° Celsius for around six hours. The two batches are then combined and fermented at a controlled temperature below 18° Celsius. The expansion is also carried out in steel tanks.
