About the wine

Telmo Rodríguez and Pablo Eguzkiza have been traveling through Spain for over 30 years, out of love for the land, for wine, always in search of the best historical sites. In 1994, they purchased the first plot of land, which was initially followed by new ones almost every year. 355 individual sites to date, 80 ha, often organically, always meticulously cultivated. Wines are only available in abundance when the vineyards have regained their former size. In 1997, the steep slopes in Málaga were purchased, from where the best and most sought-after wines used to come, on par with Sauternes and Riesling and on the tables in the royal houses. Like everything the two remember and implement is a huge success. What have the two not already given us. Wines for every day like Basa, wines with charm and grandeur like Matallana, and last but not least these mountain wines, sweet and dry simply an exotic mineral event!

Tasting note
Glacier melt - so nice, cool freshness, the snowpack only broken open, that's when the first delicate barking flowers and herbs look out, between rugged stones - and the longer, the warmer, the less tart, the more fragrant, flowery. On the palate again, this wonderful minerally tart, cool freshness, like an ice stream, and then it germinates and blooms again, the fruit becoming richer, warmer. Oh, both so delicious, drunk very cold, so tart, fresh. A bit warmer, so bright, fruity, floral, fragrant around the mineral stature.

Vinification
