Vinha Celta Bical 2023 - Domínio do Açor

100% Bical grapes, which are also called “Borrado das Mosca's old clones”. This wine comes from Grand Cru Vinha Celta, which is planted with 60-year-old vines. The wine has a medium lemon color and impresses on the nose with a mineral spiciness, framed by fresh fruit aromas, creamy yeast notes, perfectly combined with a sophisticated touch of wood and reduction. In the mouth, the wine shows great concentration, tension and a fabulous balance between electrical acid, granite saltiness and suppleness. The wine is extremely fresh, with a structured texture and a very strong fruit concentration. Long, racy finish. The wine was aged for 11 months in used French and German 500 liter barrels before being completed in stainless steel tanks for 6 months.
