Tasting note
The fruity bouquet of red plum, clove and prune cleverly flirts with your sense of smell. Afterwards, playful nuances of red cherry and cinnamon resolutely and consciously convince your taste buds. A strong body and distinctive acidity result in the red wine, which harmoniously shows a lot of character and class in the mouth with fine tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team is recommended with vegetables, burgers with blue cheese and red meat. Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 3-10 years after harvest.
Vinification
Information about vinification: After careful hand-picking of the Cariñena and Garnacha grapes, they are destemmed and crushed. Fermentation takes place at approx. 28° C, during which the mash is gently pumped over. This is followed by a subsequent maceration period of approx. 22 days with daily mixing of the mash. After pressing, the young wine is aged in French oak barriques for 13 months. The wine is bottled, slightly filtered.
