About the wine
The Mormoraia by Franca and Giuseppe Passoni is located opposite the historic town of San Gimignano on a hilltop far away from traffic with a wonderful panoramic view. Driven by a growing passion, they transformed the former monastery into a flourishing winery with 25 ha of vines in just a few years. Favourable climate and soil conditions and limited production volumes on the one hand, and a technically perfectly equipped company on the other are the building blocks of respectable success. The modern wine press guarantees careful, optimal processing of grapes, in particular Vernaccia, into a lively, racy white wine.
