About the wine
The pure Tempranillo with the name Venero DO is simply beautiful as noble wood and delights with fresh fruit. We think the Venero is in no way inferior to its famous 'half brothers' of the Hacienda Monasterio — except in price!

Tasting note
Youth by moonlight. Very dark, quiet, but also with youthful energy and freshness, cool aura. Starts dark, reserved, almost quiet, fresh young dark fruit, some ash, tart notes, hot peppers, everything appears to melt into a cool light, clear night, dark and tempting. Gentle youth on the palate, with light, dark notes, aromatic, fresh fruit, existing but not conscious power, warm feelings again and again, then tart, dark notes, and yet very personal with everything. Has an extremely youthful and romantic spirit, longing and dreamy and very close to nature, with inner peace and great soul. Ah
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for red wine is a slightly chilled 17°C. The ideal drinking phase of this wine is in the following period: Now until 2022. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Venero DO goes perfectly with red meat, barbecue and polenta.
Vinification
Selective reading by hand. Cold maceration for approx. three weeks, fermentation with the vineyard's own yeasts in concrete tanks. Aging and aging for 16 months in new and used oak barrels.
