About the wine
Full-bodied Valpolicella ripasso with intense aromas of ripe cherries, dark berries and delicate spicy notes. Velvety on the palate, harmonious and with a long, warm aftertaste.

Tasting note
Complex aromas of roasted nuts and hazelnuts dominate, accompanied by seductive notes of raisins, figs and ripe cherries. Fine balsamic notes and a touch of undergrowth elegantly round off the complex bouquet. On the palate, the ripasso is warm and full-bodied, with gently aged tannins and an invigorating freshness. A fine salty note provides a mineral-rich, long-lasting finish. A wine full of character that perfectly combines maturity and elegance.

Ideal with roasts, game dishes and cheese.
Vinification
The special feature of this wine lies in the traditional secondary fermentation. The young wine is combined a second time around the beginning of March with Amarone pomace, which gives it a stronger color, structure and a higher alcohol content.
