About the wine

The company founded by Agostino Marsura in 1936 is still housed in the buildings today, as it was in the past - expanded over the years and constantly adapted to growing quality standards. The building of the winery is almost hidden in the middle of the family-owned vineyards in Valdobbiadene. The name Marsuret, as the family is known, is a nickname of Marsura. Agostino's brother Giovanni, who was many years younger, ensured that the traditions were upheld: harvesting grapes by hand, working the vineyards and quality control. Today Marsuret is run by Giovanni, Valter and Ermes Marsura. Ermes recognized important changes in terms of new production techniques and testing methods in order to ensure flawless products. The sons of Ermes, Alessio and Enrico, bring a breath of fresh air and great enthusiasm to the company.
