About the wine

Treat yourself to the senses with the fine Trittenheimer Altärchen Riesling Kabinett fruchtig QmP from 2016! With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the German winery F.J. Eifel masters this white wine in the picturesque landscape of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region.

Tasting note
This Riesling Kabinett feinherb is pale straw yellow. On the nose, aromas of citrus fruits, ripe peaches, dried mango, orange peel and a touch of green tea inspire. On the palate, the wine is beautifully balanced with lots of citrus fruit and a perfect mix of sweet and sour, which results in a slightly mineral finish. An animating Riesling with just about 10% alcohol by volume, lots of melting and an irresistible drinking flow.
Culinary recommendation
For pure enjoyment, with cheese variations, spicy dishes, Asian cuisine, soups and z'vieriplättli.
Vinification
In addition to the pharmacy, the Trittenheimer Altarchen vineyard is probably the most famous location in Trittenheim. Located a little lower on the side of the village, the Moselle has deposited sediments here over centuries and so there is a meter-high layer of sandy clay and gravel on the slate soil. The vines are cultivated organically (certified) and picked by hand. The fermentation takes place with natural yeasts and the aging process is mainly carried out in stainless steel. What additives as well as fining are omitted.
