It tastes what it's called. This puncher packs a punch. The blend of Grenache, Merlot and Carignan is almost immediately confusing and convincing. Just like the boxer who deceives with his left and brings his right to the finish line with pinpoint accuracy. The wine is not for the faint hearted. Celler Mas Romeu is a 14th century Catalan estate located in Puig de Guarda, north of Barcelona. David's parents, Albert and Clo produce the Senglar (boar) there together with their friend and winemaker Delfi Sanahuja. After living in France for many years, you decided to revive your grandparents' winery in 2000. They planted half of the estate with local grapes such as Grenach, Carignan and Nutmeg and the other half with Merlot, Cabernte, Syrah and Mourvedre.
