Tasting note
A Solera multi-blend. This results in an extremely complex nose, with a youthful, lively fruit note from the young wines, with a fine oxidation from the older wines. The highly increased acidity is in perfect harmony with the creamy and savory note, which is interwoven with honey, almonds, walnuts and a shiny peach. The best Chardonnays always have a touch of grip on the finish, and this wine is a good example of that.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled fish, white meats, fine vegetables or creamy sauces. An exciting treat even solo.
Vinification
Solera-aged. Partially in small new barriques for 18 months, partly in large, older wooden barrels for 6 months.
