Tasting note
Deep, intense ruby red. Subtle, complex nose with scent of ripe, dark berries, wild berries, but also plums, spicy and roasted notes, of coffee and dark chocolate. Strong and full-bodied structure on the palate, tannins still covering the skin. Full body, tight with enamel and strength. Long-lasting aftertaste
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, lamb, game, hearty dishes.
Vinification
After a short maceration period, the selected, hand-picked grapes are fermented for around 16 days at a constant temperature of 28°C. This wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.
