Tasting note
This Lagrein impresses with its deep dark, ruby red color and its complex interplay of aromas. Typical notes of dark berries such as blackberries and morels harmonize with light nuances of spices and chocolate, which often result from aging in oak barrels. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-structured, with soft tannins and a pleasant acidity that gives it freshness. The aromas of ripe fruit continue and are complemented by a long, elegant finish.

Goes well with game dishes, roasts and spicy cheeses.
Vinification
After destemming, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with a mash contact time of around 12 days. The wine is then aged in new barriques for around 18 months, which gives it additional complexity and maturity.
