About the wine
With this strong white wine 2021 — Spoleto DOC Trebbiano Spoletino, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Fertile and graceful landscapes in Umbria give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Azienda Agraria Perticaia conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Trebbiano is great to serve with vegetable rice or an Asian noodle pan.

Tasting note
Straw yellow color with typical greenish reflections, with aromas of tropical fruits and yellow flowers. When refined in the bottle, it takes on the typical hydrocarbon notes. This wine is full-bodied, with pleasant freshness and spice, supported by an excellent sweetness.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with fish and seafood dishes as well as white meats, and is ideal as an aperitif.
Vinification
It is harvested in the third decade of October. The grapes are harvested by hand in the cooler hours of the day. The whole grapes are gently pressed under inert gas. The initial static and cold fermentation is followed by fermentation of the clear must in stainless steel containers at a temperature of 15-16°C. Before bottling, the wine remains on the fine yeast for at least 6 months.
