The strong white wine 2014 — Spelt Trebbiano D' Abruzzo Sup DOC is the missing puzzle piece on your wine rack. Blooming and fertile landscapes of Abruzzo give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Fattoria La Valentina conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
Light golden yellow. The scent is fine and clear with ripe peach apricot tarragon sage and maritime notes. Intense aroma on the palate, especially pear and white fruits, good balance and persistence mineral finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Mediterranean cuisine, fish, exotic dishes.
Vinification
Temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. First four months on our own yeast in stainless steel tanks outside the cellar and then almost a year in concrete. Bottling 15 months after harvesting, unfiltered and without fining.
