Tasting note
Subtle and inviting nose with fine fruitiness, clove and cinnamon, accompanied by a harmonious woody note. Rich in finesse, elegant, grippy and juicy on the palate, it shows fresh, red fruits and a slightly smoky, salty note.
Vinification
After selective manual harvesting, only a small portion of the grapes was destemmed. The mash was cooled and cold macerated until spontaneous fermentation began. After fermentation was complete, the wine was placed in new and used French and Palatinate oak barrels for 18 months and bottled unfiltered.
