Sout van die Aarde Palomino 2022 - A.A. Badenhorst Wines

Light straw yellow - fine, delicate nose with some apple and white flowers. Very straight and winey on the palate with pure expression of the variety on the one hand and the terroir on the other. The “Brakkuil” farm is located approximately 150 kilometers north of Badenhorst Keller with a view of the wild Atlantic, from which the wine gets its slightly saline expression. As in its native Andalusia, the Palomino variety also thrives here on sandy soils, where it allows its roots to grow deep into the chalky subsoil.
