Solera Extra Brut 1er Cru 2020 - R. Pouillon

Consisting of half Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, aged in large wooden barrels using the Solera process, which includes wines from 21 vintages (1997 - 2020). Every year, 30% of this wine is bottled for this cuvée and the barrel is refilled with the new vintage. Clear, complex bouquet with aromas of red apple, peach and honeydew melon, plus some nut, pine nuts and fine floral scents and a clear iodic-mineral chalk note. On the palate with good freshness, very balanced and rich in finesse, round, with a finely salty ripe touch. Ideally, open 20-30 minutes before serving.
