About the wine
We have a special, dominant Corvina from 2013 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. The winemaker from the Italian winery Santi absolutely masters his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the beautiful and fertile countryside of Veneto. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Corvina with game or roast meat.
Tasting note
Typical and very elegant, floral, with vanilla, sour cherry, “aceto balsamic” and ripe fruit aromas. Dry, warm, strong aromas with an elegant, spicy taste. Long-lasting aftertaste with toast aromas, harmonious, full-bodied and balanced. Dense, almost black dark red, with garnet reflections.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with cold meat platters, Italian antipasti and cuisine, coq au vin, pot roast, game feathers, soft and semi-hard cheeses.
Vinification
Die Vinifikation fand wie folgt statt: Handgelesene Ernte während der ersten Oktoberdekade. Die Weinbereitung beginnt mit einer Mazeration von 14 Tagen während der der Most regelmässig über den Tresterhut gerührt wird.
