Snakes & Ladders Sauvignon Blanc 2024 - Thorne & Daughters

Light lemon yellow with greenish reflections — expressive nose with classic notes of Sauvignon Blanc, i.e. cassis leaf, pink grapefruit and guava, which together create a fresh, fruity complexity. On the palate, the wine is surprisingly intense and once again extremely complex with aromas of lemongrass, gooseberries and Turkish sumac, complemented by the same notes that were already present in the bouquet. The elevated location of the vineyard in the Citrusdal mountain region and the prevailing dry and hot climate demand everything from the vines and at the same time promotes the aromatic diversity of the grapes!
