Vini del Mare Belvento — this name symbolizes the Moretti family's still young project, as it describes exactly the wines they harvest and vinify here in Maremma, near the sea: the wines of the Sea of Beautiful Winds. According to legend, it is the sea in which Aphrodite scattered the pearls from her necklace and from which Tuscany was created. The beauty of this region makes you believe in this legend! From a scientific point of view, however, Belvento — the beautiful wind — is a decisive factor for the quality of the grapes, because it is precisely this wind that ensures good ventilation of the vineyards, a refreshing breeze that keeps the grapes fresh and then gives the wines their pleasantly invigorating nature. Here, tastes and aromas always come from the interplay of land and sea. That is why the labels of Belvento wines show animal species that live on the coast, in water and in the nearby nature reserve.
