About the wine
A powerful South African Shiraz with intense aromas of dark berries, black pepper and a touch of vanilla. Full-bodied on the palate with well-integrated tannins, fine spiciness and a long, harmonious finish. Ideal with meat dishes and spicy dishes.

Tasting note
Dominant aromas of sweet, ripe fruit, supported by spicy notes and soft tannins of ripe fruit. In the aftertaste, a taste of compote. Excellent storage potential.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled or braised meat, lamb chops, game dishes as well as spicy stews and aged hard cheese.
Vinification
The grapes were carefully selected and destemmed by hand. Fermentation took place open at 23—26 °C with regular manual addition of the mash. After eight days of fermentation and an additional maceration period of three days, the wine was pressed into stainless steel tanks, with a basket press ensuring gentle extraction. The wine then underwent malolactic fermentation in steel tanks. The aging took place in French oak for twelve months: 35% new barriques, 35% second coating and 30% third coating — each medium-toasted.
