Tasting note
Dark mahogany wine, with the lasting aroma of raisins. Gentle and sweet in taste. Full, strong and perfectly balanced.
Vinification
Hand picking and then drying grapes on esparto grass mats in the sun to increase sugar content. The alcoholic fermentation is stopped by spraying to 17%, so that a high proportion of residual sugar remains in the wine. Bottled in 500 l barrels of American oak (Botas Jerezanas). Integration into the Solera (dynamic hierarchical cyclical maturation process). The long oxidative aging gives the wine its amber-colored to mahogany-brown hue.
