Sercial dos Villões is a dry white wine from the Madeira region, Portugal, produced by Companhia de Vinhos dos Profetas e dos Villões. This wine is made from 100% of the autochthonous Sercial grape variety, which is known for its high acidity and mineral properties.

Tasting note
Pear and Granny Smith on the nose, plus aromas of lemon, sage and oyster peel. On the palate, the wine looks really fresh and juicy due to its almost playful fruit. Pear, mango and some pineapple also appear here, Sercial always has an extremely ripe aroma, but without being bulky. The strong acidity and salty minerality create brilliant tension. A complex and unique wine, pure terroir!
Vinification
Grapes from 30-year-old vines on volcanic soils on the north side of the main island of Madeira; aged on fine yeast in stainless steel tanks and partly in used barriques for 9 months.
