About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Sei Solo is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the graceful and beautiful landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). Tasting note
Fresh, inviting fruit notes, little coffee, toast and almost balsamic. Silky, elegant and delicate start. Solid and well-integrated tannins, which remain constantly in the background and give the wine strength, structure and elegance at the same time.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with stews, lamb, aged cheese, mushrooms.
Vinification
Vinified in 2500 liters of foudre. After malolactic fermentation, each batch is transferred to 225, 500 and 600 liter French barrels, which are two to six years old. The subsequent expansion takes place over 18 months. In the end, careful selection is used to decide which barriques are bottled as Sei Solo or Preludio.
