About the wine

The “Segal Unfiltered Cabernet Sauvignon” shows wonderful notes of cassis, thyme and oregano, accompanied by a touch of cherries and plums. The full-bodied wine has an elegant and clear finish, with firm tannin and aromas of mint, chocolate and roasted coffee beans. The “Segal Unfiltered” consists mostly of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with a small amount of Merlot, which come from the “Dovev” vineyard. This vineyard is located at an altitude of 720 meters on the Lebanese border. After pressing the grapes, they are aged for 18 months in French and American oak barrels. The wine was neither filtered nor embellished before bottling, which preserved its wild nature and original feel. Before the “Segal” offering passion, it can be very difficult for you to refrain from opening the bottle. However, the wine reaches its peak within a few years and can remain in optimal drinking condition for some time under suitable conditions. Let yourself be fascinated by this cabernet and try it with rich dishes such as a juicy fried steak, roast lamb seasoned with rosemary and garlic, or a creamy slow-cooked beef stew.
