Tasting note
This Riesling is animatingly fresh with typical aromas of grapefruit, yellow peach, pomegranate and wild herbs. On the palate, the tasty, elegant acidity, lots of melting, a certain saltiness and tremendous minerality are impressive. An unmistakable and easy-to-drink unique item, with great aging potential. Pure Riesling!

Vinification
The Riesling grapes come from Binger Scharlachberg, one of the largest Riesling sites in Germany. Interpreting this quartzite-embossed Riesling is a particular challenge for the Runkel brothers. The soil conditions, strict yield limits, grape selection and the long aroma-promoting fermentation period make this wine so wonderfully haunting and minerally powerful.
