About the wine
Since its founding in 1961, the Boisset family business has developed into a respectable wine empire, with estates across France and in California. The boissets have always remained true to their Burgundy origin. Mommesin (Beaujolais) and Nicolas Potel (Côte d'Or) belong to their Burgundy estate, both first-class houses. Both avoid a uniform house style. Each vineyard should express its own character in wine with elegance and self-evident and without masking the influence of wood — which is nothing more than the age-old Burgundian terroir concept.

Tasting note
Deep ruby red Intense aromas of black cherries, raspberries and roasted notes as well as black pepper
Culinary recommendation
Serve with quails, fried guinea fowl, veal or pork.
Vinification
Handpick. Strict location and plot selection. Upon arrival in the cellar, a 2nd selection is made on the sorting table. The maceration takes about twenty days, including five days under temperature control at 12°C. Traditional vinification in French oak barrels, aged for 12 months.
