Tasting note
The Collio in Friuli is considered the white wine region of Italy par excellence and the Venica brothers are among the pioneers there who began to redesign vines and viticulture from the 1980s. The accent of Gianni and Giorgio Venica lies in the freshness and clarity of the white wines, which, with their structure, content and lively breed, survive even a few years of aging with profit. Sauvignon is regularly one of the outstanding wines of this winery. Its zesty fruitiness supports the lively character of this noble grape variety. The aromas are reminiscent of citrus fruits with a note of nutmeg. On the palate, the wine appears soft and pleasantly dry.
