The first Sauvignon Blanc from Barney's — in a small edition of only around 600 bottles. Expressive and lively with aromas of cut grass, black currant and paprika. On the palate, tropical fruit, gooseberries, peaches and fine minerality. Full-bodied due to yeast storage, perfectly balanced between freshness and fruit.

Tasting note
The first edition of a Sauvignon Blanc from Barneys is bursting with taste and freshness and shows what the grape variety is capable of. A remarkably aromatic nose of cut grass, black currants and green peppers is followed by a palette of passion fruit, gooseberries and peaches, as well as a subtle minerality. The fruit intensity and aging on the yeast make this wine a full-bodied treat, which is perfectly balanced between ripe fruit and invigorating acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Alone or with fresh oysters, grilled fish steak with asparagus risotto, fish and crawfish pâté, paprika chicken stir fry, chicken or seafood salad with Asian dressing and salmon sushi.
